Visual Search

I think Kooaba are now on the right track with their basic marketing message by positioning their mobile image recognition software as a "visual search" engine that returns a highly focused result (i.e. whatever the image owner wants to return).

Visual search has a lot of possibilities that are not just related to brand advertising and selling products. For example if my headshot is saved to Kooaba's back-end database, information about me could be retrieved. A picture of a medical condition could return a diagnosis. A snap of a joint of meat could tell you how to cook it etc. The possibilities are endless.
